Job search visa

The Spanish job seeker visa allows non-EU citizens to enter the country to look for work for a period of up to 12 months. This visa is designed for those who do not have a specific job offer at the time of their application, but wish to take advantage of the opportunity to find work in the Spanish labor market. During this time, the individual can look for work in any sector. If they find a job, they can apply for a residence and work permit to continue their stay in the country.

Benefits

1. Legal Residency
Although it does not authorize work, this visa allows holders to remain legally in the country while they look for work, giving them time and stability.

2. Counts toward Nationality

The length of stay with this visa counts toward the time needed to obtain Spanish nationality, unlike the study permit, which is not taken into account for this purpose.

3. Facilitates the Transition to a Work Permit

If the holder finds employment, they can request a change from their residence permit to one that allows them to work, which facilitates their integration into the Spanish labor market.

4. Opportunity to Seek Employment Related to Their Education

This visa is intended for individuals who have completed official studies in Spain, allowing them to seek employment in areas related to their academic background.
